The other day I was selling stuff in Kama. A guy/girl pm's for my Margonite gems. We don't agree on a price and someone else buys em right then. First person pm's that they'll buy em.

I apologize and tell him/her that i got my asking price and thus don't have them anymore. We go back and forth for a minute about how I'm sorry I just sold em and how he/she is glad I got my asking price. Then we laugh about how polite we're being. It was surreal.

I have to disagree here.

First off, the Live Team is a small fraction of the ANet employee base because everyone else is working on GW2

Second, to me a college degree doesnt really mean squat. There are those out there which could do all the stuff without having one, and there are those out there with one which others have to fix their mistakes

a guild friend logged to my account when the costumes were there, few days before christmas, bought me the costumes, and on the christmas day, he told me to go great temple of balthazar to get my present. And he asked me to talk to the costume maker.

Other than that, I always do free eotn tours, or with tips if anybody wants to pay, to the guys from gunnar's hold. Or run the beginning missions in every campaign

i hate to go slightly off topic, but this is kind of the problem with the newer players.

giving them free stuff and running them through missions doesnt help them at all. the early missions in each game are there to teach newer players the basics of the game.

same goes for the desert missions. those are supposed to be the basic first experience of pvp HA maps. then after a perma sin runs them through all the missions, and they want to go HA, theyre left going 'WTF RELICZZZZZ HOW DUZ DIS WURK?. AND WILL THIS GHOST STOP FOLLOWING ME!'

you can give a new playert the baddest sword around, and he'll think he is the hardest mother trucker in the game. but does he understand the stats on his weap? has he put the right att points in? probably not.

the nicest thing you can do in this game is help people to understand what theyre doing. not help them bypass it.

I can do Fort Ranik HM in my sleep, but only have a 50% success rate running to Thommis with my brand new perma. Is that a bad thing to admit?

What it has to do with anything?

Learning the game as it was is now gone that was my point or my Jeers.

I have to agree, but sadly, I'm 95% sure almost every new player will prefer having max weaps and armor rather than get helpful advices.

i got a great guild/allie who is/are very helpfull in every aspect of this great game ...not only in the guild/allie i see this "love" ppl are still helpfull and friendly except afew haters who ruin this game for alot of ppl (hackers trollers/flamers on forums scammers ...) but that does not stop me to help others :-)

treat ppl like u want to be treated ...if we all keep this in mind the "GWworld" would even be nicer if possible

Agreed. It is why I was glad I joined a guild that help me to beat the game rather than pay/get a runner to run me through. There seems to be that added sense of accomplishment when actually beating it

I usually help people out of nothing if I see they're not morons and their issues seems to be genuine and not stuff like "plz give me 50g to open my storage".

I can't really remember being helped on any meaningful way, sure, I've had many free/test runs to droks, someone once ran varesh on HM for me for free (but since it was a guildie it doesn't really count). Although, on the other hand, I never really asked for help on anything, so I can't complain.

Good GvG Guild letting me join them in GvG, very patient, no shouting over ventrilo, nice calming manly voice, hehehe c and occassional HA, although they have been disbanded. Some have gone on to become very good HA and GvG guild of their own, most have more important real life things to do. Hope they return for GW2, but doubtful.

players giving free runs for HM mission master runs.
players answering nicely to question you ask.
players giving you their good skill templates, these people don't even know me lol, and they are really nice, one of them defeated me in RA, even told me how to use the skill, when and how to keep up energy, what weapon and armour to use.
players giving me undedicated mini pet! in times of need. (i lost all mine)

Many if i want to list them, over the years. good players I meet out weight bad players.

In utility, sure.

In quantity...no.

I was given an account by a friend when he quit. The account had a sin: full FoW and chaos gloves, a para: full FoW and chaos gloves, and 660e.

First off I'm a pve scrub but back in the day I was r5 and making a group for HA. The group all of a sudden filled up with r10-r13 players they were all drunk and so was I. We talked smack and ran some good runs. Those guys were great players and over time taught me how to play my role and about positioning and what not. Even today when I get the urge they let me into their groups.

S- some- thing nice-... to- s- ACK!

Promise me you'll let me say 1000 cons for every 1 pro..

..because saying something nice about Anet's positive things is like asking us to ignore a ginormous 1000 foot wall that goes all around the world blocking our path, and asking us to just drive around it.
